Making the right decisions is important
We all have questions to ask when we're making really important decisions so here's a list of some of our most frequently asked questions to help you in your search.
Q. What dress sizes are available?
A. Elderberry Bridesmaids can supply dresses in nearly all sizes - from size (US) 1 up to size (US) 30 for fuller figure bridesmaids. And you don't pay extra for larger sizes.
Q. What's the delivery time for a gown?
A. Delivery times vary depending on the manufacturer. Standard delivery is 12 weeks from date of order while a rush cut is 8 weeks from date of order. (Note: there's a small charge for rush cut orders).
Q. How do I place an order and pay?
A. Simply follow the on-screen "3 easy steps" and you'll be sucessful in securing your order (subject to your wear date).
Q. How are the dresses priced?
A. All of our bridal gowns are priced very competitively to suit all budgets - ranging from as little as £96.00 to £135.00 for an adult gown depending on the style, cut and fabric.
Q. What if I need alterations?
A. Elderberry Brides offers a full, in-house gown alteration service for wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses and other special occasion wear. We do, however, ask that you visit the shop to use this service and we realise that may not be practical for all of our customers.
Q. What are some of the different types of waistlines?
- Basque waistlines are slightly elongated, dipping to a point at the centre front.
- Asymmetrical waistlines begin at the natural waistline and angle down to one side.
- Dropped waistlines fall to several inches below the natural waistline.
Q. What are some of the different types of necklines?
- Off-the-shoulder means without straps and lays across the top of the bustline. All of our gowns come with 'spaghetti' straps that can be attached if required.
- A halter neckline runs around the back of the neck to fasten.
- A 'V' neckline is a straight line between shoulder and bust forming the shape of the V.
- A sweetheart neckline begins inside the shoulder line and dips to a heart shape at the bustline.
- A scoop neckline is low and rounded.
- An Illusion neckline is transparent lace or netting that begins as a high or jewelled neckline and ends just above the bustline.
